MALIBU—The city of Malibu reported on its website that portions of Decker Road would be closed from October 30 through mid-December as Caltrans works to install steel netting on the hillsides to halt rocks from falling onto the road.
There will be full and one-lane closures on Decker Rd, Pacific Coast Highway for 2.6 miles. There will be signs posted throughout the region.
Work hours are expected between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Mon-Friday. Drivers are informed to take alternate routes and check the Caltrans map for additional closures or updates in the region.
