LOS ANGELES—With the buzz of free agency still swirling around the NFL, the Los Angeles Rams made one announcement about some upcoming new additions to the team, except they will not be a part of the play on the field. The team announced plans to hold auditions for the team’s cheerleading squad in April.

“We are seeking professional, glamorous, talented candidates to be part of our return to Los Angeles. Our cheerleaders will represent the Rams organization not only on the field but also throughout the community, nationally and abroad,” said Keely Fimbres-Bledsoe, the Ram’s Director of Special Events and Cheerleaders on the squad’s website.

Preliminary auditions are scheduled for April 2 and 3 at the Galen Center on the USC campus. Participants will learn new choreography and perform alongside other competitors.

The final auditions will take place at the Famous Forum on April 17 and will include an interview portion, swimsuit competition, and dance performance.

The organization is offering training workshops on March 20, 24 and 26 at 24 Hour Fitness Clubs in Woodland Hills, Hollywood and San Bernardino. The cost of the workshop is $40 and registration is required at least three days prior to the date of the workshop.
