DULUTH, GA—Former NFL defensive end and Hall Of Famer, Chris Doleman, died on Tuesday, January 28 after a long battle with brain cancer.

The Hall of Famer was a first round pick in the 1985 NFL draft to the Minnesota Vikings. He played with the Vikings for nine seasons from 1985 to 1993. He later went on to play for the Atlanta Falcons from 1994 to 1995, and played for the San Francisco 49ers from 1996 to 1998.

He was an eight-time Pro Bowler and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2012. In 2018, he had surgery to remove a brain tumor. Doleman was 58 at the time of his death.
