WESTWOOD – UCLA Police are on the lookout for a male suspect who sexually assaulted a female student on March 16.

 

The incident occurred around 9:00 p.m. when the victim was walking eastbound along Wilshire Boulevard in front of the Hotel Palomar while talking on her cell phone, according to UCLA Police. 

 

The victim was then grabbed and sexually battered by a male suspect before he ran back to a vehicle that the victim saw was parked onShelby Avenue.  The suspect then fled southbound on Shelby Avenue in that car.

 

The suspect is described to be a white male, between 30 and 40 years old.  He is described as being between 5 foot and 10 inches tall and 5 foot and 11 inches tall. He has an average build, dirty blond or brown spiked hair, and was wearing a blue or purple long sleeved dress shirt and khaki pants.  

 

The suspect’s vehicle was described as a newer model silver sedan. UCLA Police have asked residents to watch out for this suspect.  Anyone with information about the suspect or his crime is asked to contact the UCLA Police Department at 310-825-1491.  Anonymous calls can be made to 310-794-5824.
