WEST HOLLYWOOD—On Wednesday, January 29 entertainment publicist Joyce Sevilla, 47, was found unresponsive in her apartment on 1300 Harper Avenue. The news was confirmed by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

According to police reports, officers responded to the call around 9 p.m. at Sevilla’s apartment. Indications of foul play was not a factor leading to her death.

The nightlife publicist was loved by many. Friends and colleagues shared condolences via social media after the news was confirmed on Thursday, January 30.

A cause of death for Sevilla has not been disclosed by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner Coroner’s Office.

Sevilla worked for Rembrandt Flores Entertainment Fusion Group for over 10 years in the nightlife spaces for parties, venues, and clubs. She managed major clients, and brands including, Tinder, DeLeon Tequila, Marquee Dayclub, Rolling Stone, Playboy and the Coachella-adjacent Neon Carnival.

In 2018, she founded Sevilla Strategic Communications, her own entertainment firm that focuses on marketing and publicity.
