SANTA MONICA—Joseph Koetter, 47, has been charged for having sexual relations with a 16-year-old girl for the past two years.
The victim reported the incident to the police after finding out about other alleged victims through a blog post over the internet.
The former English teacher who taught at Marlborough School in Hancock Park for 14 years, is being charged with with two counts each of oral copulation with a minor and sexual penetration by a foreign object.
Koetter is scheduled to be arraigned on February 25 at the Foltz Criminal Justice Center, Dept. 30, at 8:30 a.m. If convicted, he faces up to five years in state prison.
