WESTWOOD—As the FIFA World Cup continues, the Hammer Museum at 10899 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90024, is hosting multiple free World Cup watch party events from June 24 through July 19.
According to the Hammer Museum, the Hammer is home to a variety of exhibits and programs, including lectures, symposia, film, readings, and musical performances, and features the notable slogan, “Free For Good,” meaning admission to the Hammer Museum is open and free to the public.
The FIFA watch party will be hosted at the museum’s indoor-outdoor courtyard, with the games broadcasted on multiple big-screen TVs. In addition to the games, the museum offers attendees free access to exhibits between matches, with some featured exhibits being “Several Eternities in a Day” and “Space Is the Place.”
Patrons are welcome to shop at the Museum store and bring their own outside food and non-alcoholic beverages to the event or can enjoy access to the LULU restaurant which offers daily lunch and dinner menus.
While the Hammer Museum offers free entry, patrons are advised to RSVP on their website as the seating for the watch party is on a first-come, first-served basis.
