BEVERLY HILLS—My name is “Heather”, and if you’re wondering what kind of dog I am – well, so am I.  But I really don’t think that it matters, does it?
Let me tell you my story, ok? I’m a little girl about five months old.  I was found in the desert along with my three brothers. I weigh somewhere around twenty five pounds now, and am not really sure how much more I will grow.
In spite of my scary beginning, I’m very friendly.  I love to snuggle with people and with other dogs – and if you don’t mind, I’ll smother you with lots of kisses!  The only time that I bark or whine is when I want you to take me out so that I can do my “business”.  So, you see, I’m pretty smart for a young one, don’t you think?
Even though someone abandoned me, I sure hope that there is someone that will give me a chance to prove what a good girl I am.  I would love to be part of a family, so won’t you please call to see me?  I’ll show you what a snuggler I am!
Note:  Please!!!  Don’t abandon an animal. To leave them to fend for themselves, without food and water, and to be subjected to being hit by a car or attacked by another animal, is beyond cruel.  .
Before adopting a dog or cat, or any type of animal, be sure that you are able to take care of them, that you will treat them with love, and realize that they are part of your family and not to be treated like a piece of furniture to “get rid of” when it is inconvenient for you to care for them.  The excuse that “I’m moving”, really makes me crazy.
Please be responsible and have your pets spayed and neutered so that no more puppies and kittens will be brought into the world.  There are so very many that are in shelters at this time that need homes.  Let’s take care of them.
Please check our website at: foafla.petfinder.com to see all of the wonderful dogs and cats that are here that would love to be part of a family.  Then give us a call to make an appointment.  It’s that easy!
