My name is Nilo.  I’m the one on the left with the dirty face!  We just had a bath and I didn’t realize that we were going to have our picture taken, so I decided to take a mouthful of food.  Oh, well, I think it adds a little character to my face – at least you’re sure to take notice of me!
You met my best friend Nahla a couple of months ago.  She’s a little girl, six years old, and I’m a little boy, seven years old.  We’ve been together since Nahla was born, so we definitely want to stay together, forever.
We were both in pretty bad shape, from head to toe, when we were brought into the Friends of Animals Foundation.  We were dirty and matted.  But, after we were bathed and groomed, had our nails clipped, and our teeth cleaned – – boy, did we ever feel and look better! (Okay, I know that my face doesn’t stay clean very long! Sorry about that!)
We get along with all ages of humans, from youngsters to seniors, who we adore.  We get along with other dogs, and kitty cats, too.  Did I mention that we’re smart, very affectionate, easy going, and housebroken, too?  When we go for our walks, we prance along side by side, and make a very cute pair – so we’ve been told.
Even though there are two of us, we’ll be very easy to take care of.  We’ll be company for each other when you have to leave us for an hour or two or three. So, no worries there. You will get twice as many kisses, and life will never be boring. Think of all of the pictures of us that you can e-mail to your friends, place on facebook and twitter, and all of the other electronic things that Nahla and I really don’t understand.  So, how about something old fashioned that we do understand, such as snapshots that you can put in an album?
We want,so very much, to belong to someone that will love us and take care of us, forever. We promise to love you back with all of our hearts. So, won’t you please call to see us?
You can see all of Nahla’s and my doggie and kitty friends that are waiting for loving homes, too, if you check: foafla.petfinder.com.
