BEVERLY HILLS—My name is “Solo”, and I bet that my picture put a smile on your face, didn’t it? People say that I’m a very cute little guy, and seeing that I’ve never seen myself, I’ll take their word for it, and say “thank you, very much”!
I’m one and a half years old, and weigh about eight pounds.  I get along with other dogs, and children, too.  I’m not aggressive in anyway, and if you want someone to cuddle with, I’m definitely the one for you.
There’s not much more to tell you about myself, so you’ll just have to come in and see for yourself if everything that I’ve told you is the truth.  So, I hope that you’ll call to see me.
However, I do have some other things to tell you –  such as how to keep us dogs and cats safe, now that Christmas is almost here. You should be sure to have all decorations and ornaments so that we can’t reach them.  They all look like shiny new toys to us – we don’t know the difference.
Why not have artificial plants, instead of real Poinsettias, Holly, or Mistletoe, as the real thing can be very toxic.  Flameless candles are the best to use, too, then you don’t have to worry about one of us knocking them over and causing a fire. Just think of the money that you’ll save, too, as you can use them for years to come!  Also, be sure that we don’t drink the water that the Christmas tree is in.
As much as we’d like to have your guests feed us, please don’t let them, as we don’t want to get sick.  They may not know that foods that have a lot of  fat, sugar,or sodium in them are very bad for us.  Also, they may not know that onions, raisins, grapes, and chocolate are toxic to us.  And, of course, bones and alcohol are also on the no-no list!
Last, but definitely not least, please be sure that all the doors are kept closed, as it’s easy for us to slip out while everyone is busy socializing!  And – be sure to always keep ID on us, just in case.
Now that you know how smart I am – beside being cute! – won’t you call to see me?  However, if you want a jogging companion, or a kitty cat that’s content to never want to go outside, just check our website at: foafla.petfinder.com, and you can see a big variety of all of us four footed ones just waiting for that certain call.
