ANAHEIM—The Oregon Ducks migrated to the Honda Center; the same venue where the Anaheim Ducks nest and steamrolled the reigning champs Duke Blue Devils, 82-68 on Thursday night.

The decisive victory earns the no. 1 seed a spot in the ELITE 8, their first since 2007. Oregons athleticism, strength and speed overwhelmed the Blue Devils. Leading the charge for the Ducks with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists was Dillon Brooks.

They were unstoppable, effortlessly gliding from coast to coast, whereas Duke struggled from the begining. Never establishing a rhythm, Dukes stars, Marshall Plumlee and Grayson Allen were ineffective going 4 for 13 from the field.

The exclamation point came when Oregons Chris Boucher dunked right over Plumlee, sending the crowd into a frenzy.

The Ducks are the last remaining team from the PAC-12 conference. They next face the Oklahoma Sooners on Saturday, who cruised to a 77-63 win over Texas A&M earlier in the evening. The excitement inside Honda Center was contagious-even Laker legend Kobe Bryant happily posed with the Duck mascot.
