WEST HOLLYWOOD—Apple has forgone on stocking the Apple Watch in their stores until June. For those who pre-ordered, Friday, April 24, the official launch date is when watches should start arriving for Apple enthusiasts. For those who missed the pre-order deadline, there may still be hope.

Maxfield in West Hollywood is one of five global locations that will have the Apple Watch and Apple Watch Sport in stock for purchase on launch day. Along with the WeHo location, boutiques Colette in Paris, Dover Street Market in London and Tokyo, and the Corner in Berlin will also have a limited amount of stock for sale. With the high demand of Apple Watches, and backorders slated for at least four weeks, expect these boutiques to be sold out quickly.

Apple Store has been sending push notifications for Apple Watch delivery updates

Apple has began sending notifications to customers, providing shipping updates for their Apple Watch. Some updates include informing customers that their watches may arrive earlier than expected.

The Apple Watch comes in 20 models ranging from prices of $549 to $1049, while Apple Watch Sport comes in 10 models ranging from $349 to $399. As quantities are limited in the boutiques, styles will be also. Once the quantities are gone, online purchase will be the best attempt in securing any of the various versions of Apple Watch.
