MALIBU—As part of the Malibu City Hall Exhibition related to the Woolsey Fire, the city of Malibu Cultural Arts Commission will exhibit a second installation of artwork. In the first exhibit, Radical Beauty, Malibu Rising engaged the community to showcase photography, paintings, drawings, free-standing art, short films, and written work starting August 2. The show will close on Sunday, August 18.

The city encourages artists to submit new paintings photography, sculptures, short films, written work, poetry, and other art inspired by the Woolsey Fire for a new exhibition to launch in September. Online submissions will be accepted by the city through ArtCall.org, where artists will be required to create a user profile on the site.

The Opening Reception of Radical Beauty, Malibu Rising will take place on Friday, September 20 at 6:30 p.m. at Malibu City Hall. From September 23 through December, the exhibit will be displayed, Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Admission is complimentary.
