WOODLAND HILLS—On Wednesday, October 6, a fire damaged an attic in a one-story house located at 23212 Friar St. There were no injuries reported during the incident.
Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey stated that the fire started at 9:12 p.m. and that 26 firefighters extinguished the fire in 30 minutes. The fire was confined to the attic.
The immediate cause of the fire is not known; however, authorities are currently investigating.
