UNITED STATES—Seven year old, Benton Stevens, from Austin, Texas was bullied by adults for his fundraising efforts to help build a border wall.

KXAN out of Austin, Texas  reported that the child’s mother, Jennifer Stevens said it all began when Benton watched the State of the Union address.

“He wanted to know about the wall  so we explained what it was all about and he [Benton] was like, “I want to raise money for the wall,” said Jennifer Stevens.

With matching funds and donations, Bennett was able to raise $5,000.

In the video, Shane Stevens asks his son, “What are we doing here?” Benton replies, “Doing a hot chocolate stand to help make the wall.”

Pictures were posted on social media of the child with his hot chocolate stand that went viral.  Both of Benton’s parent’s are members of Republican National committee, Jennifer explained to KXAN.

“People think he’s brainwashed,” said Jennifer.  “Well of course he supports Trump because we do, and he hears how we talk and this and that.  Call that brainwashing, but I call it parenting because we instill our values in him.”

“He was called little Hitler yesterday” Stevens said.  “A guy pointed at him in his car then he said we didn’t like brown people.  I don’t understand that at all.”

This is not the first time a child has been bullied by adults for being supportive of the President of the United States.

President Trump and First Lady, Melania Trump invited 11 year old, Joshua Trump to the State of the Union address as their special guest saying, “Unfortunately, Joshua has been bullied in school due to his last name.”

Covington High School teen, Nick Sandmann, is suing the Washington Post for $250 million after his family said, “The newspaper targeted the student and defamed him for political purposes.”

The lawsuit is in reference to the January 2019 Pro Life March in Washington DC where Sandmann was accused of being an instigator and harassing tribal leader, and Native American activist, Nathan Phillips. When the two-hour video was seen in its entirety, it shows that Philips singled Sandmann out after he and his friends were being heckled by a group of Black Hebrew Nationals.

In a WND Exclusive Franklin Graham wrote:

“There are lessons to be learned from what happened to Nick Sandmann. I thought this young man showed a lot of maturity in a very tense situation, and I applaud him for that. However, because of the media’s biases and false, slanted reporting, he received physical threats and even death threats, and their school had to be closed yesterday due to security concerns. Let’s pray for Nick and the other students at his school, and pray for our country which has become so divided. I lay much of the blame at the feet of the media for feeding the divisions and pushing their own agendas rather than actually researching and reporting the news.”
