WEST HOLLYWOOD—In West Hollywood, there lies Plummer Park, and the city government is determined to reimagine it for the future, but the city government did not want to do so without input from the community. This is what lead it to host its Community Brainstorm Workshop on Saturday July 12, which was held between 10 a.m. and one p.m. in Fiesta Hall. That is located in Plummer Park.
During this event, representatives of the city government had several stations that conducted small workshops which allowed them to learn about the history of Plummer Park, the events that occurred there and how the public uses it. Those who participated in these workshops were able to see interactive maps and 3-D models which they could make changes to if they desired to do so and also make suggestions about possible improvements for the park. All of this information will be used to form the city’s Plummer Park Comprehensive Improvement Plan.
This is not the only event the city plans to hold to help form its city’s Plummer Park Comprehensive Improvement Plan as more events like that one that was held on Saturday will be occurring. The city will be listing them on the webpage, Engage WeHo Project Page. It can be found at https://engage.weho.org/plummer-park-comprehensive-improvement-plan.
