WOODLAND HILLS—The Los Angeles Police Department is actively investigating a residential burglary where more than $100,000 worth of goods were stolen. The victim is a male whose property was under construction. According to investigators, the suspects entered through the back glass door and stole valuable items, including a safe, jewelry, and DJ equipment.

The break-in occurred near Valley Circle and Burbank Boulevard, an affluent neighborhood in the San Fernando Valley. The burglary was reported on Wednesday, June 24, at around 12 p.m., after the homeowner discovered his property had been burglarized. The suspects have not been identified or arrested and are at large.

Woodland Hills has recently faced a surge in organized residential burglaries. In the past week, the LAPD Topanga Division logged 9 burglaries, 6 grand theft autos, 13 thefts from vehicles, and 20 thefts in the West Valley area. The LAPD attributes the crimes to organized crews who use rapid entry and exit tactics to escape before police arrive on the scene.
