HOLLYWOOD HILLS—At approximately 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 26, three individuals attempted to break into actress Monet Mazur’s home while she was inside with her dog. The suspects wore ski masks and black clothing. After security cameras detected them, Mazur went outside to confront them, prompting the suspects to flee.
The Los Angeles Police Department was dispatched to the residence. RMG News obtained video that TMZ published showing Mazur outside her residence, standing in the driveway near an LAPD vehicle, while speaking on her cell phone. Four uniformed officers walk away to search the area, one of them turns on his flashlight. Mazur remains behind. Her dog barks off camera.
Mazur leaves the driveway and walks to the side of the house, calling her dog’s name. The footage shows two more LAPD vehicles parked in her driveway. The dog barks once more. The footage cuts to an LAPD helicopter flying overhead, its lights flashing as it uses a searchlight to sweep the area. After a few seconds, the dog darts over to Monet as the officers depart.
Mazur is seen standing in her doorway, while speaking to officers, who gives them permission to enter. She then goes inside and the camera pans down to the mat, revealing an object that resembles a bottle of pepper spray, but it is unclear whether it belongs to Mazur or one of the suspects. A fourth LAPD vehicle arrives at the home before the footage ends. by the house. No additional details about the incident has been released to the public.
Mazur began acting in the early 1990s. From 2018 to 2026, she starred in the CW sports drama “All American.” She also appeared in guest-star roles on many television shows and in many films, including “Just Married,” “Blow,” “The House Bunny,” and “40 Days and 40 Nights.” In 1999, she also appeared in a set of GAP commercials directed by Adam Daelay.
