BEVERLY HILLS—The city of Beverly Hills posted on its Facebook page on July 11 that as part of Southern California Edison’s (SCE) ongoing wildfire prevention and mitigation efforts, routine inspections will be conducted in Beverly Hills neighborhoods over the next few weeks.
The inspections may involve drones and helicopters to examine electrical equipment on poles and towers — especially from difficult or top-down angles for a full 360-degree view.
The goal: To identify any potential hazards that may need immediate repair to help keep our community safe.
“Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as SCE works to reduce wildfire risk and improve service reliability,” said the city of Beverly Hills in a statement.
