BEVERLY HILLS—On August 13, the City of Beverly Hills will be hosting their “Love Your Body” workshop. Canyon News spoke with City of Beverly Hills, Publicist-Recreation Specialist, Heather Sumagaysay for additional information on the event.
The “Love Your Body” workshop is a part of a summer series. Sumagaysay stated, “The workshop is a part of an overall community-wide effort to encourage people to live healthier, happier lives. From the Farmers Market and hundreds of recreational classes to free workshops and walks with the mayor,
Beverly Hills offers a variety of fun interactive events and activities to inspire people. In June, Beverly Hills spotlighted heart health and in July, the “Live Love & Joy” workshop touched on the role that exercise plays in reducing stress.”
“The “Love Your Body” event will feature complimentary cold-pressed juices and healthy treats provided by Montage Beverly Hills; a presentation about lifestyle and its effect on cardiovascular disease from Dr. Sheri Koplik; inspirational personal wellness solutions from Spa Montage; and a preview of City-sponsored courses available in the fall brochure, such as mud-walking, aqua exercise, adult fitness and weight training,” said Sumagaysay.

The event starts at 5:00 p.m. and ends at 6:30 p.m. It will be located on the third floor terrace of the Montage Beverly Hills which is located on 225 North Canon drive. There is complimentary self-parking available in the Beverly Hills Canon Gardens structure. The entrances to the structure are located at
241 N. Canon Drive and 242 N. Beverly Drive.
