GRIFFITH PARK—On Saturday, December 21, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported a fire at 9:55 p.m. on 2700 N. Vermont Avenue.
The LAFD ground resources were on-scene of a small fire approximate 20’x50′ patch of vegetation located west of the Greek Theatre. The fire was held in check by hose lines LA City Park Rangers deployed prior to LAFD arrival.
Two LAFD engine companies remained on-scene to extinguish any hot spots that remain. There were no reported injuries during the incident. No additional details about the blaze have been disclosed to the public.
