WOODLAND HILLS – A crash occurred on March 15, that resulted in hospitalization of three people. The accident occurred on the 2000 block of Hatteras Street at 7:00 p.m. A black sedan was reported to have lost control and careened onto an embankment before it proceeded to crash into a freeway sign.
The crash is suspected to be the result of street racing. NBC LA interviewed residents from the neighborhood who indicated that they frequently witness speeding down the street.
Two of the people, a man and a woman, injured in the crash were a middle-aged couple; it is not known if the pair were pedestrians or inhabitants of the vehicle.
