HOLLYWOOD HILLS—On September 17, Citizen reported that the decomposed body found in the singer D4VD’s abandoned Tesla found at the impound lot of Hollywood Tow Service located at 1015 N. Mansfield Avenue has been identified as Celeste Rivas Hernandez, who was last seen in her hometown of Lake Elsinore on April 5, 2024. She was reported to be 13 years old at the time of her disappearance.

TMZ first reported that the mother of the missing teen had a distinct tattoo that was a positive match for her daughter. Forensics confirmed her identity. The mother of the victim indicated that her missing daughter had a boyfriend named David.
The Medical Examiner is still investigating the cause of death. A spokesperson for D4VD whose birth name is, David Anthony Burke, said that he is, “fully cooperating with authorities.”

On September 8, Los Angeles County Police Department (LAPD) deputies were called to the tow yard of Hollywood Tow Service due to a foul smell that was coming from a 2023 Tesla that had been sitting in the impound lot.
Investigators on the scene discovered a badly decomposed body stuffed into a bag in the front trunk of the Tesla that was registered in Hempstead, Texas to David Anthony Burke.
