LOS ANGELES—On August 31, the Greater Los Angeles Area on Deafness (GLAD) will be holding their “Party Like a Virgo” event. The event will be a fundraiser supporting GLAD’s domestic violence/homeless program.
The fundraiser, which is being held during the astrological sign Virgo’s month, invites people to share the “good karma” by supporting GLAD’s event. The event will have appetizers, a buffet, dessert and drinks.
Attending guests are expected to have a $30 donation per person. To attend the event, prospective attendees are required to fill out the RSVP form (http://www.gladinc.org/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/Virgo2.pdf) before August 23. The event begins at 3:00 p.m. and will end at 9:00 p.m. It will be held at the GLAD Auditorium which is located on 2222 Laverna Avenue in Los Angeles, CA.
