STUDIO CITY—On Saturday, June 7, a 54-year old woman was rescued by the Los Angeles Fire Department. At 8:20 p.m. a helicopter transported the victim to the UCLA Medical Center in the area of Westwood. The name of the victim has not been disclosed to the public.

She sustained injuries to her neck and her leg. The severity of her injuries are not known. The distance hiked by the woman was unidentified by the LAFD.

According the report on the LAFD website, the victim fell near Coldwater Canyon and Mulholland.

Canyon News reached out to LAFD who declined to provide any additional details about the incident.
