PACIFIC PALISADES—Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have been swamped with rumors about a possible divorce, with different sources claiming their marriage is soon to be over. This weekend rumors surfaced when a Wetzel & Sons moving van was seen parked outside the couple’s Pacific Palisades house.
In May 2015, Life&Style Weekly reported that Garner was furious at her husband for his alcohol and gambling problems. Back then, a source revealed to Life&Style that Garner’s marriage was falling apart, and although she is very good at keeping it together, “she could snap at any time,” the source said.
Rumors about their separation got worse after Affleck was seen gambling in Vegas instead of taking care of his children in Los Angeles, while Garner was away in Manhattan. A Radar Online report added that on Garner’s birthday, on April 17, Affleck was seen alone in a trip to Canada, without his wedding ring.
Days later, the couple went out for lunch in Brentwood, California, proving that they were still together. Entertainment Tonight reported seeing them getting ice cream with their two oldest daughters: Violet and Seraphina.
A source confirmed that the moving trucks seen on June 21 were there to deliver furniture for storage, as the couple is planning on renovating their home. The owner of Gianneti Architects told ET that they had previously done other projects in the Affleck-Garner house and that the couple recently called them again to do room renovations.
On Father’s Day, Garner was seen at the Los Angeles International Airport, sporting her wedding ring. According to ET, Garner and Affleck are planning on using the summer to focus on their family and to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary on June 29.
