UNITED STATES−Authorities are searching for Roberto Martinez Perez, who is responsible for fatally shooting Madisyn Alandra Suzanne White-Carroll, 19, in her vehicle on December 10. The East Oakland woman was found in her vehicle located on the 9800 block of E. Street.

Carroll’s vehicle, a Chevy Malibu was involved in a car accident shortly after 9 p.m. Social media posts indicated that suspect was in the country illegally, and fled the scene and left the country.

The victim’s mother, Shauna White, spoke to FOX News’ Tucker Carlson in an interview who she named as an illegal alien living in Hayward, California. The mugshot of Martinez has not been made readily available by Oakland Police Department. White stated that because California is a Sanctuary State, Martinez is protected.

“When she got out of the car to take care of it with the insurance, he [Martinez] became aggressive,” said White. “He’s well known over there to rob people…When she didn’t have anything else to offer him, he attacked her. He punched her in her face and continued to hit her,” White told Carlson.

Shauna added that 10 rounds of ammunition were unloaded on her daughter who just turned 19, two weeks before her death.

Oakland Mayor, Libby Shaaf made headlines in 2018 for allowing illegals advance notice that Immigration and Customs Enforcement would start searching the Bay and Oakland areas for illegal aliens in the country.

The victim’s father, Erik Carroll wrote on the Justice for Madisyn White-Carroll Facebook page:

“Sanctuary City, Oakland is trying to down play my daughter’s murder for political reasons. They are not releasing his image because it doesn’t fit their narrative of a sanctuary city #justiceformadisyn.”

Canyon News reached out to Oakland Police Department for a statement, but did not hear back before print.
