STUDIO CITY—Authorities nabbed two suspects who attempted to rob a medical marijuana dispensary on the 11700 block of Ventura Blvd. on October 1.
Workers of the Perennial Holistic Wellness Center noticed two suspicious males trying to break into the dispensary. Sam Humeid, the owner, called the police as the suspects entered the building.
Employees hid in the bathroom and contacted police, as the suspects grabbed marijuana, money and merchandise. Authorities arrived on the scene with their weapons drawn and a police helicopter circling overhead and took both suspects into custody.
Humeid and his employees were unharmed during the incident.
