SANTA MONICA—Santa Monica Pier’s Secret Story Tour is a new, immersive app which creates a unique way to experience the pier.
The app allows users the opportunity to solve location-based puzzles to unlock secrets and untold stories of the Pier. It is an educational tour in which users not only learn, but can also experience the Pier in various ways.
The app is designed for users to uncover information and origins about the Pier’s history, including the off-shore, short-lived gambling boat. Puzzles can be solved around the landmark. Users can capture special photos and post on social media with #PierSecretStoryTour.
The tour is 45-60 min long. It is available for all ages and the tour can be completed with a group or solo for a cost of $19.99.
