IRAN—On February 28, the United States and Israel targeted Iran in an attack in a partnership with US allies to end nearly 50 years of aggression and global nuclear threats from Iran. The U.S. and Israeli forces launched missiles at Iranian naval bases, permanently disabling them.
On March 2, at 8 a.m., the U.S. Defense Secretary, Pete Hegseth addressed the nation during a press conference at the Pentagon noting conflict has intensified, and the situation is not, “endless.” Four U.S. servicemen were killed in Operation Epic Fury.
“The U.S. didn’t start the conflict in Iran, but under President Trump, we are finishing,” Hegseth stated. Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, who was killed during the strikes, had his regime building fleets of ballistic missiles and drones in an attempt to create a conventional shield for the nuclear blackmail ambitions.
“To Iranian security forces: choose wisely. President Trump has also been clear about your fate in either direction. This operation is a clear, devastating, decisive mission. Destroy the missile threat. Destroy the navy. No nukes. We fight to win, and we don’t waste time or lives,” Hegseth stated.
Mansoureh Khojasteh, the wife of the late Khamenei, sustained airstrikes on Saturday, February 28, and has been in a coma. She died from her injuries.
On March 1, President Trump returned to The White House as the U.S. and its allies marked approximately 48 hours of the strikes by the US and Israel strikes on Iran.
“I have just been informed that we have destroyed and sunk nine Iranian Naval Ships,” adding that Iran’s Naval Headquarters has also been “destroyed,” President Trump stated.
The Pentagon confirmed the U.S. deployed B-2 stealth bombers armed with 2,000 bombs as part of this campaign. Reports indicate that the U.S. and its allies are using both missile and drone attacks in this operation. The U.S. military has destroyed nine Iranian Navy ships.
“In a bold and necessary exercise of American strength, President Trump authorized Operation Epic Fury, a precise, overwhelming military campaign to eliminate the imminent nuclear threat posed by the Iranian regime, destroy its ballistic missile arsenal, degrade its proxy terror networks, and cripple its naval forces,” said the White House in a statement.
President Trump previously warned Iran’s leadership that the U.S. would not tolerate Iran’s nuclear threats. The Iranian people celebrated in the streets following the death of Ali Khamenei, and thanked President Trump publicly.
“We want to say thank you, President Trump. This is the only person who has supported us in the last 50 years.”
Southern California residents gathered with allied forces and in other areas against the U.S. involvement in Iran.
Residents in Westwood celebrated the announcement of the death of Iran’s Ayatollah Khamenei on February 28, regarding a regime change in Iran.
