WEST HOLLYWOOD — On June 16, a woman allegedly stabbed her boyfriend during an early morning altercation, according to police.

Deputies from the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Department received a report of a stabbing during a domestic incident at around 8 a.m.  When officers arrived at the address on the 1200 block of Hayworth Avenue, they were unable to locate the victim or the suspect.  It was later found that the victim, who was suffering from a stab wound to the torso, had transported himself to a hospital for treatment.  The unidentified man is expected to recover, according to police.

The female suspect, identified as 23-year-old Loy Jargo, was found later that morning near Crescent Heights Boulevard and Fountain Avenue after the malevictim provided police with her description.  She and the victim were believed to be living together.

Jargo was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon.  She is currently in custody at Century Regional Detention Center with bail set at $510,000.
