HOLLYWOOD—American and Australian actress, Jane Badler confirmed via Instagram that her son, Harry Hains, 27, an actor and Australian model, died on Tuesday, January 7. Harry starred in the FX series created by Ryan Murphy, “American Horror Story.” He also starred on the Netflix sci-fi series “The OA” and Amazon’s “Sneaky Pete.”

“On JANUARY 7, my beautiful son died. He was 27 and had the world at his feet but sadly he struggled with mental illness and addiction,” Badler wrote in her social media post, accompanied by multiple photos of Hains. “A brilliant spark shone bright too short a time I will miss you, Harry, every day of my life,” she added.

Hains was born on December 4, 1992, in Melbourne, Australia, to Stephen Hains and Jane Badler. He became a resident of Los Angeles and started his acting career when he was cast in movies that included “Groupie,” “Psychedelic” and “The Surface.” He was a musician and released the album, “A Glitch in Paradise.” Harry was musically known as AntiBoy.

According to Harry’s mother, a memorial service will be held at Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles on Sunday, January 12.
