MALIBU—Actress Julia Roberts’ home was trespassed by an unknown man in January, which has led the actress to increase the amount of security at her home.
It is not known when the actual break-in took place, but according to reports it happened sometime after the passing of Roberts’ half-sister, Nancy.
According to RadarOnline, a neighbor indicated that the trespasser tried to break into the house of the actress and escaped after being thrown into a cactus bush by a member of Roberts’ security team. The suspect fled the scene before police arrived. Roberts lives at the home with her husband Daniel Moder, nine year-old twins Hazel and Phinnaeus and six year-old Henry.
The actress has taken extra precautions by installing more cameras on her property, hiring more security guards and even has a standby car outside the property.
