MALIBU—The city of Malibu recently announced its next guest for the ongoing Malibu Library Speaker Series. On Wednesday, November 2 beginning at 7:00 p.m., author Susan Casey will meet with members of the community to discuss her life and work. Casey is the author of three New York Times bestsellers such as “A Journey Into the Wild and Haunting World of Dolphins,” “The Wave: In Pursuit of the Rogues, Freaks, and Giants of the Ocean,” and “The Devil’s Teeth: A True Story of Obsession and Survival Among America’s Great White Sharks.”
The 2016 Malibu Library Speaker Series is “a program of the County of Los Angeles Public Library, Malibu Branch, and the City of Malibu featuring speakers on a wide range of subjects that will appeal to a broad section of the community. Speakers discuss the entertainment Industry, literature, science, motivation, the arts, education, sports, travel, food, and the environment. The events are free and open to the public.”
