Motorcyclist Killed In Hit-and-Run Crash

BRENTWOOD—A motorcyclist was killed in a hit-and-run crash that took place at approximately 7:40 a.m. in Brentwood on Wednesday, March 18.

Paramedics responded to the scene of the crash, which took place near the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Kenter Avenue. The male motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

All westbound traffic on Sunset Boulevard has been diverted south on Kenter Avenue, but all eastbound traffic continues to move freely. In a news release, the Palisades Patrol warned drivers to expect a closure of westbound Sunset Boulevard for a minimum of four hours.

The name of the deceased has been withheld to the public pending notification of first of kin. Authorities have not released any details on the suspected vehicle responsible for the crash.
