WEST HOLLYWOOD—On June 26, the Los Angeles County Sheriff Department’s West Hollywood Station announced that Captain Lapkin, the commander of the West Hollywood Station, honored the work of Deputy Wenger, Deputy Vega, Deputy Costales, and Deputy Sciacca by presenting each with the Hook of the Month award.
The award is given to deputies who demonstrate an outstanding commitment to proactive policing by identifying criminal activity, responding before a call is made to the station reporting a crime, and making arrests. The law enforcement was praised for their commitment to keeping the region safe.
