WEST HOLLYWOOD—The West Hollywood Station of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department released its crime report for December 2025, which showed a decline in crime in West Hollywood compared to December 2024.
In December 2024, the West Hollywood Deputies responded to 1,632 calls, and in December 2025, they responded to 1,578 calls. Deputies made 39 felony arrests and 91 misdemeanor arrests.
According to the crime report, Part I crimes declined from 158 in November to 147. In addition, there were no homicidal reports, but the West Hollywood Sheriff Deputies did respond to six calls about rape. There were also 10 cases of aggravated assaults, 10 burglaries of residences, and 14 other burglaries. Also, there were many thefts reported in December, including 23 shoplifting cases, 22 thefts from motor vehicles, 5 thefts of cars, and 50 other thefts. Also, 4 arsons transpired in December.
When compared to 2024 there is an overall decline in crime in the city of West Hollywood in 2025. Through December 2025, crime declined by 12 percent compared to December 2024 and aggravated assaults dropped by 30 percent and robberies remained largely flat, but burglaries increased slightly.
Deputies with the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station investigated eight collisions involving vehicles and pedestrians and two collisions involving vehicles and bicycles. The deputies also made 11 DUI arrests and there were six DUI-related traffic collisions reported.
The West Hollywood Sheriff deputies have been engaged in ongoing outreach efforts, and their patrol compliance has been reported at 106 percent.
According to the December Crime report, most crime in West Hollywood occurred in the West District. The report was released in January 2026.
